Overcoming the challenge of variable feedwater.

The challenge
An agricultural customer’s groundwater was affected by seawater intrusion, so the salinity of its feedwater varied over time.
The approach
Rick’s team designed a brackish-water RO system that adapts automatically to changing feedwater salinity, while maintaining maximum recovery and water-use efficiency.
The result
The system was designed for feed salinity from 1,000 to 8,000 ppm, operating at up to more than 91% recovery.
